Seacombe is a village close to Wallasey, on the Wirral Peninsula, which organised its own races in 1792. The meeting was instigated by the Lord of the Manor of Poulton in August 1792, lasting three days from Monday 20th to Wednesday 22nd August 1792. Races of minor significance were staged and the course lacked the support enjoyed by its more illustrious neighbour, Wallasey Racecourse. Although races did continue for a few more years, they lacked quality and results were not widely reported.
